Big congratulations to our u13 boys for making the LYPL Supercup final!
A squad full of u12/u13 boys, what they have achieved so far this season for themselves and the club is remarkable. Playing against some talented footballing sides so far this season; including teams such as Bloomsbury, Lambeth tigers, Crystal palace and the Jason Roberts Foundation. The boys have deservedly pulled together claiming their place in the u13 super cup final. The first and oldest generation of our Escalate squads, the boys have done our club extremely proud to get this far in the cup. During their journey so far, our young squad has shown composure on the ball, confidence and a real tenacity going forward each game. Our older boys have shown the leadership skills expected of Escalate players with our younger ones producing the character to match this. Each player has encouraged trust between each other, worked hard on and off the pitch as well as showing a true belief in their ability. This is the Escalates first season in the London Youth Premier League. A luxurious league, with amazing facilities. The league is dedicated to bridging the gap between grassroots and professional football. The leagues ultimate mission is to enhance the personal development of young people. A mission in which nicely fits into our clubs ethos.
The Final will be played against the Talented, Cre8tive Football Academy, on the 11th May at Bridgestone Arena, NW10.
Please come and support our boys!
